What you are buying
Genuinely varied. Radburn's clustered homes face interior greens rather than streets, with pedestrian underpasses connecting them. Elsewhere the borough runs post-war capes, colonials and splits on regular lots, plus garden apartments and townhouse complexes.
Getting to Manhattan
Broadway, Radburn and Plauderville stations all serve the Main and Bergen County lines. Radburn is the most useful for most of the borough. Peak trips to Hoboken run around forty-five minutes.
Schools
Fair Lawn Public Schools operates seven elementary schools, two middle schools and Fair Lawn High School — a large, stable district with a wide programme range.
Where people actually go
Radburn's greens and the Plaza building are worth walking even if you do not live in them. Memorial Pool is the summer centre. Broadway and River Road carry the retail, including a long-established kosher corridor serving the borough's substantial Orthodox community.
